THE GIRL IN MY EYES. (Part II)
As the days went by my daughters began to complain about hearing strange noises at night, trying to keep them from realizing what was happening I always had a logical answer for every strange event that happened. However, they objected to my answers even though we were comfortable at home, they knew that what was happening was not ordinary.
Después de haber experimentado una extraña sensación al escuchar la voz de alguien que no estaba allí conmigo, mire hacia el cielo. El sol ya comenzaba a disminuir su intensidad, las nubes a perder su color brillante y el viento a anunciar que la noche estaba por comenzar. Entonces regresé al interior de la casa; el dueño estaba en la sala esperando por mí, acercándome un poco le dije: – ¡La casa me gusta! Pero no puedo pagar la renta mensual y en este momento no tengo el dinero total para dar un depósito de seguridad. Gracias por su tiempo, pero no puedo rentar la casa.
After experiencing a strange sensation upon hearing the voice of someone that was not there I looked up at the sky and the sun was already beginning to set with its intensity, the clouds were losing their bright color and the wind was starting to announce that the night was falling. So, I went back inside the house and the owner was in the living room waiting for me, as he approached me, I said to him; “I like the house! However, I can’t pay the rent and right now I don’t have the full amount for the security deposit”. I exclaimed; “thank you for your time, but I can’t rent this house”.
Cuando te veo… Jamás se distinguir si estoy dormido o despierto. Y un escalofrió recorre mi cuerpo. Mientras mi piel se eriza !Yo veo tu reflejo en el espejo! Porque… Aunque no estés físicamente a mi lado !Vives en la luz de mis ojos! Que como fotografía reflejan tu rostro en mis pupilas; porque desde que apareciste en mi vida… Te has convertido en la niña de mis ojos.
Realmente me cuesta hablar acerca de mi vida, no es tan fácil como algunos de mis amigos creen. Ellos piensan que: – Porque me gusta escribir es sencillo hablar de todo lo que acontece a mi alrededor. Pero no es así, esta es la primera vez que voy a relatar los hechos a través de los años acerca de la niña de mis ojos, que llego a convertirse en mi cuarta hija y se mudó a vivir a mi casa después de mi divorcio.
When I see you, I can’t never tell if I’m awake or asleep. There is a chill running through my body, and I get goosebumps as I see your reflection in the mirror. Although you are not physically by my side, you are the twinkle in my eyes that as photographs they reflect your face in my pupils. Since you came into my life…You became the twinkle in my eyes.
It is difficult for me to talk about my life, it is not as easy as some of my friends might think. They think that since I like to write it is simple for me to express the events that surround my life. However, that is not the case, for the first time I am going to write about the girl I’ve called “the girl in my eyes”. Who became my fourth daughter as she moved into our home after my divorce.
El sentimiento de amistad puede surgir casi inmediatamente o puede tardar años en desarrollarse entre dos o más personas que se han conocido por mucho tiempo. Dos de las características sobresalientes de la amistad son que puede llegar a ser perdurable e inquebrantable, cuando se ha tejido eslabón por eslabón a través del servicio y convivencia continua de unos hacia otros. Algo curioso es que la palabra amistad es un nombre femenino, que emocionalmente puede nacer entre hombres y mujeres por igual, hasta convertirse en un sentimiento que se aloja directamente en el corazón de los seres humanos y en algunos animales domesticados que conviven con nosotros. Tal vez su naturaleza es así, porque incluye en su significado muchos aspectos relacionados a las características emocionales y sentimentales de una mujer. Como, por ejemplo: La capacidad de poder sentir afinidad, lealtad, solidaridad y amor con gran intensidad hacia otro ser humano que no es miembro de su familia.
Friendship may arise almost immediately, or it may take years to develop between two or more people who have known each other for a long time. Two of the outstanding characteristics of friendship are that it can become enduring and unwavering, when step by step it has been woven through the service and continuous coexistence to and with one another. Curiously enough friendship can be viewed as feminine, despite the ability to be emotionally born between men and women alike, a feeling that lodges itself directly in the hearts of human beings and perhaps within the beloved pets that live with us. Perhaps its nature, because it includes in it meaning many aspects related to the emotional and sentimental characteristics of a woman. Like, for example: The ability to feel affinity, loyalty, solidarity and love with great intensity towards another human being who is not direct family.
He escuchado muchas descripciones diferentes del significado de la palabra amor, así mismo he leído una variedad de conceptos que definen la palabra amor. También he visto muchos videos de personas que afirman tener el significado preciso de la palabra amor. Todos afirman que su concepto es verdadero y luego se desmienten así mismos por una serie de contradicciones al hablar o expresar con movimientos corporales el significado de la palabra amor. Para mí, la palabra amor no se define por conceptos, pruebas de laboratorio o métodos científicos, ya que el amor es un sentimiento que se vive con el alma y se demuestra en todo momento y en todo lugar donde se encuentran las personas por quienes mi corazón palpita con fuerza provocando una explosión de felicidad cada vez que están cerca de mí. I have heard many different definitions of the word love. I have read a variety of books that define the word love. I have seen many videos of people who claim to have the precise meaning of the word love. All affirm that their definition is true and then they disprove themselves by making a series of contradictions when speaking or expressing with corporal movements the meaning of the word love. For me, the word love is not defined by concepts, laboratory tests or scientific methods, since love is a feeling that lives with the soul and is always demonstrated in all places where those that I care for are nearby.
Esta definición de esperanza me gusto: Es la expectativa confiada y el anhelo de recibir las bendiciones que se han prometido a los justos. En las escrituras se habla con frecuencia de la esperanza como la espera anhelosa de la vida eterna por medio de la fe en Jesucristo.
Hoy miré hacia el cielo… Y sentí que el viento que jugueteaba con mi pelo ¡Era tan frio como el hielo!
Con mi mirada fija en el infinito ¡Estaba buscando consuelo! Muchos días han pasado, desde que tú te fuiste y aunque sé que verte regresar es imposible, llevo dentro de mi tu recuerdo.
¡De pronto! Algo capto mi atención; ya que brillaba de una forma tan extraña. Porque su resplandor, era semejante a los rayos del sol.
