Mi padre fue fotógrafo. Realizo muchos viajes a diferentes lugares para tomar fotografías en las ferias de los pueblos. Conoció mucha gente y en varias ocasiones me relato experiencias vividas en esos viajes. Había ocasiones en que me volvía a contar anécdotas que yo ya había escuchado.
My father was a photographer. He made many trips to different places to take pictures at the town fairs. He met many people, and on several occasions, he told me about his experiences on those trips. There were times when he would tell me stories that I had already heard.
The first time my eyes saw the immensity of the sea, my heart almost literally exploded inside my chest. I don’t remember how old I was, but I had already heard many fantastic stories about sea monsters that lived at the bottom of the sea. Tales of beautiful mermaids who, with their charms, attacked the crew of ships that entered their waters. The story of the giant white whale. Pirate adventures in search of treasures and the many love stories that took place on the shores of the beach.
La primera vez que mis ojos vieron la inmensidad del mar, mi corazón casi exploto literalmente dentro de mi pecho. No recuerdo la edad que tenía, pero ya había escuchado muchas historias fantásticas acerca de los monstruos marinos que viven en el fondo del mar. Cuentos de hermosas sirenas que con sus encantos atacaban a los tripulantes de los barcos que se adentraban en sus aguas. La historia de la ballena blanca gigante. Aventuras de piratas en busca de tesoros y muchas historias de amor a la orilla de la playa.
Muchos han sido los que a través de la historia han escrito acerca de la búsqueda incansable del Elixir de la Vida que puede dar como resultado la Eterna Juventud. Piratas, filósofos, alquimistas, científicos y devotos creyentes han realizado grandes descubrimientos químicos tratando de crear la poción exacta que pueda alargar la vida del ser humano; o se han embarcado en la búsqueda terrenal que los lleve al lugar exacto donde se encuentra tan ansiado tesoro.
There have been many who throughout history have written about the tireless search for the Elixir of Life that can result in Eternal Youth. Pirates, philosophers, alchemists, scientists, and devout believers have made great chemical discoveries trying to create the exact potion that will extend the life of the human being; or they have embarked on the earthly search that will take them to the exact place where the long-awaited treasure is found.
The sound of the wind mixes with your laughter like the musical notes that brighten my life. Your face shines like the morning dew when illuminated by the sun. I see you run, jump, and dance to the beat of your favorite song that melodiously comes out of your lips.
