At the age of 7 I liked to run in the backyard of my parents’ house, where there were many big trees. My father liked to plant fruit trees and harvest vegetables. I perfectly remember that at the end of the patio there was a jocotes tree, cashew tree, guava tree and there was also my favorite tree, the tallest and most imposing mango tree that my young eyes enjoyed observing; whose branches were fill with güisquil, loroco and pashte (luffa or scourer) vines.
A la edad de 7 años me gustaba correr en el patio trasero de la casa de mis padres, donde había muchos árboles de gran tamaño. A mi padre le gustaba sembrar árboles frutales y cosechar hortalizas. Recuerdo perfectamente que al final del patio había un árbol de jocotes, uno de marañón, uno de guayabas y allí también estaba mi árbol preferido, el más alto e imponente árbol de mangos que mis ojos de niño disfrutaban observar; cuyas ramas albergaban algunas enredaderas de güisquil, de loroco y de pashte (luffa o estropajo).

Antes de asistir a Kindergarten yo ya había aprendido a leer, aunque parezca difícil de creer, así fue. Mi madre tenía un negocio donde se vendían toda clase de libros y revistas. Que incluían una gran variedad de temas. Amor, Ficción, Romance, Documentales, Historia, Política, Naturaleza, Ciencia y toda clase de fotonovelas, que me permitían adentrarme en un mundo lleno de fantasía, emoción o conocimiento.
