It is very common to hear that words are carried away by the wind, but actions from many occasions remain tattooed even in the soul. If we do not take care of our way of speaking, acting, or thinking when we interact with the people we love, we can cause wounds that remain open like living flesh embraced by the heat of the fire or marred by the salt of bitterness that corrodes the heart of those who have been victimized; consciously or unconsciously, we are the people that hurt whom we also love.
From a very young age I began doing different jobs. I think I was around five years old when I asked my father to buy me a shoe polishing box, because I wanted to start working and earn my own money. I was very happy when my father gave me my little box to shine shoes. So, I developed the job of a shiner for several weeks during which I was very successful, until the older shiners kicked me out of the central park of my town, since they got angry when they observed how people preferred to queue and wait for me to shine the shoes. I think that happened because of my age, since seeing me so small people felt motivated to give me their shoes so that I could shine them.

There are times when love hurts… It hurts the soul. That pain is felt in the heart and physically causes pain to the body. Each of the internal organs that make us sensitive to emotions hurt. It hurts so much that, when expressing it with tears, our tears turn bitter. Especially when we are not authentic in how we give or receive LOVE.
