HAPPY BOY (Part V)

The Happy Boy girls waited for the women who attacked The American Girl to leave before helping her. They lifted her off the ground, covered her with a tablecloth that they grabbed from a table, and helped her into a room to bathe. After that incident, The American Girl never returned to Happy Boy. The man who had danced with The American Girl did not return either, and the rumor spread in town that his wife had hit him, leaving him with a black eye. Since then, in town, when a man refuses to go to a party with his friends, it has become a popular saying, “You do not go to parties because your wife hits you. And if you leave without asking her permission, when you return home, she gives you a black eye.”

Brisa was not happy with the decision that Doll had made to become Pablo’s girl. And whenever she could, she reminded Doll that they had crossed the border to make money, not to waste time. However, Doll did not listen to the advice of her friend. On one occasion, Dina told the Doll that she should take advantage of her youth and beauty, because everything ends with time. She also told her that if she did her cleaning job well, she could enjoy all the young men who came to Happy Boy to lose their virginity. But Doll replied that she preferred to be with Pablo because later she would have plenty of time to do her cleaning work.

In Jutiapa, it was quite common for parents who had male children to think that when a youngster broke out with acne on his face, it was time for him to “Try a Woman.” Thus, the young man became a true man and would fill his father’s heart with pride, who would then boast among all his friends what had happened to his son.

In The Happy Boy, there were girls who conducted specific functions, as in the case of The Nanny, who was a young woman with light brown hair, white skin, light brown eyes, and an unwavering reputation for turning young men into men. There were a lot of parents who paid for her services, never mind that the children had to queue outside her room to get the benefits of the experienced Nanny. Although some of her colleagues at her cleaning job nicknamed her “The Virgin Eater.”

Thanks to the parade that the girls did every Wednesday through the streets of Jutiapa, every time they attended the health center to receive the renewal of their “HEALTH” card, which allowed them to work without problems, The Happy Boy was growing in popularity among the men of the town who were old enough to discover the mysteries of human pleasure.

Nestor was a 14-year-old teenager who was the orphan of his father. He lived with his mother and his brothers. He worked in the afternoons after school as an apprentice to straighten and paint cars in the workshop of the father of a school friend. He earned little but was saving so he could pay a visit to The Happy Boy. And every Wednesday, as he watched the girls walk past the shop, he got excited, thinking that very soon he would be able to raise enough money to fulfill his secret wish.

Oscar and Adam were friends of Nestor, who also worked in the same workshop after school. Oscar’s older brother was 20 years old and had promised to take him to The Happy Boy secretly from his parents because they were Christians. Oscar told Nestor and Adam that his brother would take him to The Happy Boy’s Nanny over the weekend, and he invited them to go with them. With enthusiasm, Adam responded, “My father will be happy when I tell him that I want to go to The Happy Boy, and I am sure that he will come with us.” But Nestor responded with discouragement, “I want to go too, but the money is not enough to visit the Nanny.”

Then Oscar told Nestor, “My brother can lend you the money you lack. My brother works every day, and he has a lot of money. I will ask him to lend you the money, so the three of us will go the same day with the Happy Boy’s Nanny.”

When boys are young and have the impetus to try new things, time goes by quickly. On Saturday evening, the three youngsters went to The Happy Boy, accompanied by Oscar’s brother and Adam’s father. The three were nervous, and they had bathed and dressed in their best underwear.

Oscar’s brother went looking for the Nanny. When he returned to where the youngsters were waiting for him, he said, “I have sad news. The Nanny said that she only had availability for two more youngsters tonight. She recommended her friend Vicky to me for one of you. So, we are going to do a raffle to see who goes with Vicky. Here I have three little balls of paper; one of them has Vicky written on it. Grab a ball each and let’s see who’s lucky tonight.”

The three youngsters opened the little pieces of paper at the same time, and Vicky’s name was on Nestor’s hand. Oscar and Adam began to laugh, while Nestor was discouraged. Adam’s father told him not to worry because, after his first time, he would surely return to Happy Boy many more times. The Nanny arrived at that moment, and Oscar went with her.

Iris also came to the table where they were gathered and said, “Vicky sent me to look for the next one of you.” Then Nestor stood up and went with her. With each step he took, Nestor’s heart accelerated a little more. Iris noticed that Nestor was nervous, and grabbing his hand, she took him to the door of Vicky’s room. There, she told him, “When you enter the room, you have to take off all your clothes and lie on the bed. Vicky was with another client. But as soon as she finishes bathing, she will come here with you.”

When Nestor entered the room, he began to undress. He was ashamed of being totally naked, but he laid down on the bed. The room was dimly lit by a night lamp. When Vicky entered and took off the robe she was wearing, Nestor felt his legs tremble. Vicky gently laid down next to him, saying in a melodious voice, “Don’t worry, I know it is your first time. I will be patient and help you awaken the champion you carry with you.”

When Nestor returned to the table where his friends were, he had a huge smile on his face. Oscar and Adam would not stop talking about what they had done. The next day, Oscar had to confess to his parents what he had done at the request of his older brother because he had contracted crabs and needed to be taken to the doctor.

At that time, it was rumored that in the town middle school, there was an epidemic of crabs among the young men, who, despite the consequences, kept a smile on their faces with the satisfaction of having become men.
